I am a reader, writer, editor, noticer of small things, and lover of the everyday. I live in Brooklyn Northampton, work for a small liberal arts college in Vermont, and possess an unusual amount of knowledge about fairy lore and obscure superheroes thanks to my daughter and son.

I want to experience my life as a rare and beautiful thing, something worth chronicling, and I created the Ordinarium to help me do that.

It is open to the public, but it is very much a personal practice of observing and preserving the luminous ordinary. There is so much of it and, to my mind, it’s worth sharing.
