You will hurt yourself trying to contain the frantic energy of the storm. You will hurt me, the simple thick bone around it. I’m here to protect you but these racing currents are hard to hold for long. Please
let the rain fall to a thirsty earth.
Allow the wind its wailing song.
Accept the invitation of the thunder to wrap yourself in a blanket and sit by the window.
Watch, listen. Potent weather is passing through full of electricity and drama.
Set it free. It will nourish the soil and cleanse the air if you let it.
