The hard part is over.
Now remember me easy
like ringing a bell
or kissing a baby
or gazing at the moon.
When you forget,
just touch and listen.
Anything will do:
a stone, a leaf,
a hand, a heart.
Touch your fingers to it.
Let them rest awhile.
Hear the song.
It is me
as I am
singing to you.
Simple
like the bend in a river
or the fall of a feather
or a single sigh.
The hard part is over
and it is just me
in everything
loving you.
