A compact capsule of feeling, an expression that connects,
a resonance, a field,
a grateful, joyful, grieving
presence.
The suffering and the song.
The movement and the stillness.
The free verse, spare and full.
The flash of insight, the silver strand, the hidden pearl.
The line break, the white space, the characters clinging together as words whispering into the darkness.
A flicker of flame.
A knowing, a faith that I am the poem.
